Bespoke Basic Life Support for Children and Young People with Complex Healthcare Needs.
This is a bespoke course for carers caring for children and young people with complex needs in the home who need to be able to provide first aid for the infant/child they are caring for if they become unresponsive and not breathing normally or are choking.
The course also covers how to manage one or two other paediatric emergencies (the situations are identified on an individual basis).
(This course is 3 – 6 hours depending on individual requirements).
Courses are bespoke and individualised to the needs of the child or young adult. Training courses will provide staff with the skills required to meet the individual needs of each child or young adult.
All our training courses are based on current NHS best practice and are competence based and assessed against nationally recognised standards.
